Web slices are a new feature of IE8 which allows web developers to easily integrate content right into the browser chrome. Darren at Stimulant worked on a web slice for OneRiot.com which shows recently posted videos to the site in a fun Silverlight UI. In a classic case of us taking something simple and making it a more interesting project, he made a whole new animation library for Silverlight to power all of the great motion inside the applet.
